Custom Printed Branding and Retail Accessories

Branding and retail accessories are the printed items that go in or on the pack rather than being the pack: tissue paper that wraps the product, stickers and labels that seal or identify it, and hang tags and thank you cards that travel with it.

They are bought by retail, fashion and gift brands, online sellers and food businesses that sell packed goods, and they are usually ordered alongside bags or boxes. This category helps you pick the right accessory and go to its product page.

Custom printed tissue paper, packaging stickers and labels, hang tags and thank you cards: how to choose the right branded accessory and where to start.

Custom Printed Tissue Paper

Printed tissue sheets for wrapping products inside a bag or box, common for fashion, gifts, cosmetics and bakery presentation. Typical buyers are retail and e-commerce brands that want the opening of a parcel to carry their design. The key decision is the paper grade (such as MG or MF tissue, recycled or acid-free) and weight, which then sets how much ink coverage the sheet can take without show-through or transfer.

Custom Printed Stickers and Labels for Packaging

Adhesive stickers and labels that close a bag or box, identify a product or carry the brand, supplied as roll labels or sheet stickers. Typical buyers range from food and drinks producers to e-commerce sellers and caterers. The key decision is the face material and adhesive: paper, kraft, PP, PE, PET or vinyl, chosen for whether the pack is dry, chilled, greasy or uncoated kraft. Labels on food products carry legal content as well as branding.

Custom Printed Hang Tags and Thank You Cards

Printed tags that attach to a product with a string or fitting, and cards that go inside a parcel. Typical buyers are fashion, accessories and home brands, and online sellers who want a personal note in every order. The key decisions are the board (kraft, uncoated, coated or thick board), the size and shape, and the attachment. What goes on the tag also matters: price, size and brand usually sit on the tag, while fibre and care information often has to be on a permanent sewn-in label.

Tissue, sticker or hang tag: which do you need?

Start with what the item has to do. If it wraps and protects the product, it is tissue paper. If it seals, closes or identifies a pack, it is a sticker or label. If it hangs on the product or travels inside the parcel, it is a hang tag or card.

Two cases cause most confusion. A sticker can seal a tissue wrap or a bag, but it does not replace a hang tag on the product, and neither replaces the sewn-in label that textile rules often require. And a plain bag with printed tissue and a sticker can carry a brand at a lower unit cost than a fully printed bag, which is a design choice worth pricing both ways before deciding.

Buying guides for tissue, labels and hang tags

For artwork that has to work across all three, the packaging artwork guide covers file preparation and colour, and Pantone vs CMYK explains how to keep a brand colour consistent across paper, labels and board.

Terminology by market

German-speaking buyers search for Seidenpapier bedrucken (tissue paper), Aufkleber or Etiketten bedrucken (stickers and labels) and Hängeetiketten or Anhänger bedrucken (hang tags); Dutch buyers use zijdepapier or vloeipapier, stickers and hangtags, and UK buyers often say swing tags for hang tags. Each hub lists the local terms in full.

For bakeries and food brands that use stickers to close bags and boxes, the bakery packaging page shows the full set.

Accessory quotations compare only when material, size, print and quantity are the same in each. The packaging RFQ guide lists what to send. When the brief is ready, contact us with the item, sizes, artwork and the markets you sell in.

Frequently asked questions

Can tissue paper, stickers and hang tags be ordered together?

Yes, in one brief. They are different products with their own materials and print methods, so each is specified and priced separately, but a single quotation request can cover all three. Send artwork, sizes and quantities for each item and the markets you sell in.

What is the difference between a sticker and a label?

A label carries information, such as a product name, ingredients or a barcode. A sticker is mainly decorative or used as a seal. Both are adhesive-backed and printed in the same ways, so the choice is about content. Labels on food or regulated goods carry legal requirements; stickers usually do not.

Can tissue paper wrap food?

Standard printed tissue is made for wrapping products, not food. For food contact, a food-grade wrap such as greaseproof paper is the usual choice. If tissue will touch food, ask the supplier for food-contact documentation that covers the paper and the inks.
